It has been brought to IEC’s attention that a company, Cohan Inside Consulting Limited (“CICL”), is representing itself as acting for IEC in the capacity of its Investor Relations Department and are contacting potential investors to convince them to invest in IEC on the basis of it representing a good investment opportunity.

We wish to make it clear that IEC has no relationship with CICL. The representations they are making to potential investors are false.

IEC is aware certain individuals have already been persuaded by CICL to part with substantial sums of money in the believe that they are buying shares in IEC from existing shareholders at a fair price. They are not and this is not true.

This matter has been reported to the relevant authorities.
